Psychology is one of the most rapidly developing social sciences, touching almost every aspect of our life. As for me I think that psychology is a very important and useful subject for everybody to study. It helps us to solve our personal problems and to communicate with other people. Knowledge of psychology can help to bring up children in a family. Special psychological tests can help us to choose the right occupation. Every specialist who is going to deal with people should know psychology well enough to be successful in his career. I am a student now and my specialization is social psychology. I have chosen the profession of a psychologist because I find this science not only very important but very interesting as well. It is so fascinating to study people: how they think, act, react and interact. Psychology is concerned with all aspects of behavior and the thoughts, feelings and motivations behind such behavior. Besides, psychologists are needed in all spheres of human activity: at schools and institutes, at hospitals, offices, in prisons and other establishments. Therefore I hope I will be able to find an interesting place to work at after graduating from the institute.
