Dear Claire, I\'ve decided to write you this letter as I hope you could help me to deal with my problem. The fact is that my mom wants to control my life in any way imaginable! She wants me to wear the clothes that she picks. When I was working she took all my money. She wants to chose a career for me! It\'s terrible! She is very strict! I try to do my best at school, I take hard classes, I never go anywhere, she has to know where I am 24/7. If I want to go to watch a movie with friends, I have to ask her a week in advance, and she drives me to the movies. I don\'t do anything stupid (drugs, alcohol, etc.) I\'ve never done anything wrong. I\'m very polite with her, I never yell at her, I talk to her with respect all the time and she still isn\'t satisfied with me. Moreover she wants me to look the way she feels like, and for 17 years she makes my life a hell! Now she wants me to cut my hair really short (by the way she always chooses a hair cut for me), I don\'t want short hair, and when I tell her, she starts yelling like crazy.
