ABSTRACT The theme of the thesis: Internet sites as a modern type of publication (for example, "Ukrainian Truth") Volume: 94., 99 sources. Object of study: the Ukrainian internet media in general and the "Ukrainian Truth" in particular The aim of this work: to clarify the functioning of information web sites, their difference from other types of media, to determine from which site "Ukrainian Truth" is one of the most popular online media in Ukraine. The results obtained and their novelty: in the course of the identified differences between the work of online media and other forms of media, the advantages and disadvantages of information sites compared with the press, identified the prospects of development of Ukrainian electronic publications. Review the work site "Ukrainian Truth" and found out, through which he is popular among visitors. The research results can be applied when writing scientific papers on the development of Internet media in Ukraine and in the development of new information sites.
