1. It's formed of of the following parts: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
2. Great Britain is situated on the British Isles, lying to the west of the continent of Europe.
3. One of the leading industries of Great Britain is the textile industry (Liverpool, Manchester). Iron, steel and various machines are also produced there (Birmingham, Sheffield). Shipbuilding and motor industry are highly developed too (Glasgow)
4. Parliament consists of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
