как я поняла, это (почти) одно и тоже. Crown attorney - в канаде. Crown Prosecutor в англии, уэльс и австралии.
Crown Attorneys or Crown Counsel (or, in Alberta, Crown Prosecutors)[1] are the public prosecutors in the legal system of Canada. Crown Attorneys are not elected and are not accountable to the people. They are civil servants and can be removed from their position only pursuant to their employment agreement with the province.
The Crown Prosecution Service, or CPS, is a non-ministerial department of the Government of the United Kingdom responsible for public prosecutions of people charged with criminal offences in England and Wales.
