Books have played a very big role in my life. Starting from the first grade, they helped me to learn the alphabet, read letters, words and even sentences. As I grew older, books opened a world of unknown before me. Often I would spend my free time reading a good book. When I read, it makes me forget everything that is around me; I begin to feel what the characters are feeling. When they cry, I want to cry with them; when they laugh, I get happy for them. Books have always fascinated me. I\'m very glad that I\'m able to read, since many children of my age in different countries are not able to get educated like I am. I\'m thankful for the opportunity to learn.
